This requires experts with comprehensive knowledge in areas such as data analysis, AI training, and security.
Studies and surveys suggest that other AI professions will be in greater demand in the future. These include AI trainers, who feed and optimize the models with the necessary data, data specialists, who create the basis for AI training, and AI security experts, who deal with the security-relevant aspects of AI systems.
Instead of hiring dedicated prompt engineers, many companies are focusing on training their existing employees in the use of AI tools. Basic knowledge of prompt engineering is thus becoming an important additional qualification for specialists in various fields. The ability to interact effectively with AI is increasingly becoming a key skill in the digital age.
The development of prompt engineering illustrates the dynamism of the AI sector. Professions emerge and change at a rapid pace. Continuous training and adaptability are therefore crucial to survive in the changing job market of the future. While the role of the highly specialized prompt engineer is losing importance, other AI-related skills are becoming increasingly relevant.
